S4 18" Wheels
S4 18" Wheels
Hi all, I'm in need of 2 18" wheels for by B7 S4 Avant. I've had a look around and can't find any and the stealer is asking silly money for them. I believe they are called Avus. Also while I'm hear I'll ask the age old question of what new tyres are recomended.? Just had a set of Verdesteins with no complaints but also no comparison.

The wheels on the site above are made by WSP Italy (check the page for manufacturer WSP), according to the WSP site they are classed as spare wheels which implies they are identical to the OEM ones.
If you contact performance alloys they can obtain the Avus wheel but called W536 Boston by WSP Italy. You can't buy direct from WSP Italy and they don't seem to reply to e-mails either.
I visited Wheels Worldwide in Clevedon to try some wheels, when you get there they ask for your keys. As I had never dealt with them before I preferred to keep hold of mine until the vehicle needs to be moved but got some smart remark when I said that so I left

P.S. The B6/7 S4 wheel is the Avus III, there are previous versions which look similar but are not, they have a lip around the edge so check the P/N. I have seen sets of S4 wheels that are a mix of the different versions.
You could also try trade sales germany as they do OEM wheels at cheaper prices.
One little fact I did discover is the Avus wheel is named after a race track in Germany..
