S4 Towbar

I had a B6 S4 Avant which I bought with an Audi fitted detachable towbar. It was fitted from new, unsure of the cost but there is certainly one available from Audi......

Personally not sure why there is such confusion about the towbar, the S4 chassis is the same as the normal A4 so the standard towbar will fit, the only issue comes down to the fact Audi do not recommend that the S4 is used for towing. This I believe is due to not enough cooling capacity to cope with the extra load towing creates and secondly they didn't certify the S4 as suitable for towing so might be an inusrance issue.
