Has anybody got a copy of;

Self Study Program 217 (V8 40v Engine) in English and
Bentley Publishers Audi A4, S4 2002-2008 Technical Repair DVD.

Both required to try and help find where my oil is going!

Have you tired changing oil manufacturer? Something like this has reduced oil consumption. You could buy a cheap boroscope of fleabay and have a look at your cylinder liners. They are prone to scoring = oil consumption

I have just put some Castrol Edge 5W40 in, new filter, new Denso Iridium plugs plus changed the coolant sensor (which I had a fault code for). I will monitor the consumpsion over the next couple of months.

I would still like the technical documents. I can buy the Bentley manual but I can't find the self study programme 217 in English anywhere. Does anyone have it in pdf?

Hi,

I would take a look at http://erwin.audi.com . You get all of the technical documents you need - you might find what you're looking for.
There are self study programs - https://erwin.audi.com/erwin/showSearch ... hipping.do - just select "self study programmes"
Please be aware the site only works properly with Internet Explorer not Firefox.

Chris.

Cheers Chris

They have the SSP 217 (v8 40v engine) in English for about £5.
I'll get that ordered. I've spent days looking for that only to find it in German!

Thanks again
Mark
