B7 S4 flywheel replacement URGENT

Post by SCBN3 » Fri May 14, 2010 3:45 pm

Hi all

Just heard from my local dealer that my flywheel needs replacing and have been quoted over £2k. If anyone can point me in the direction of a cheaper alternative that's close to Brighton I'd appreciate it.

Gutted is an understatement.

Cheers
Scott

Shop around even at the various Mr Clutch's as the prices they quote differ at every depot.

Thanks for the replies. Any ideas how safe it is to drive with a shagged flywheel?

Cheers

DON'T got to Mr Clutch. They're crooks.

What's the problem with the flywheel? I can beat their price, but i'm in London. PM me if you want an exact price.

Hi

The flywheel is being replaced today - the central hub/boss/whatver the hell you call it had decided to follow it's own path. Thanks for all the replies, I'm going off to weep gently onto a large bill

:boohoo:
