Guys,
had a go at taking apart the wipers assembly on the S4 today. Its pretty obvious its the seized spindle thing. Problem is, how the hell do I get the assembly out to take it to bits to start the fix?? :?

I've removed the nuts on ecu case, so that can move, but can't seem to remove arms, etc from the motor to get the whole thing out of the car.

Any help (either via here, or actually to give me a hand) would be hugely appreciated, and I'm sure I could sort out a pint or 2 for the kind soul.

Thank you :beerchug:

Thanks BlingBling, but it's not the wiper arms themselves that are the problem....I meant the assembly underneath behind ECU enclosure - "all the gubbins that the wipers bolt onto" I mean, if that makes sense...

Hi,

I use http://erwin.audi.com. If you go to the "on-line service information" part you can get access to Audi service manuals on-line. I normally use the 1 hour subscription for 4 Euros and use the Windows screen dump facillity to print off the information.
You can get access to the manual contents for free to have a look around.

Regards, Chris.
