Mods to the S4 4.2

Post by wayne7 » Thu Oct 02, 2003 7:02 pm

I have been looking at the web site and thinking .. "When I need more, what shall I do " ...

I spoke to my Audi dealer and he said "leave well alone !!, Audi know exactly what they are doing .. it can't be bettered !!" ...

I think he means mods might improve some areas (speed) but upset others ...

Any comments or first hand knowledge would be good

Hi Wayne

I've recently driven 2 AMD modded S4's that were the puppies undercarriage IMO.

For me the std S4 4.2 is just not fast enough and is lacking in character. The AMD modded car changed all that for me

You need to get along to Listers in Stratford and speak to Spencer Grey. Then drive his AMD modded S4 avant and you'll be signing a cheque for the mods. Cars I drove had;

* AMD re-map
* Racing Cats
* Miltek exhaust system

That little lot costs around £2.8k plus VAT BUT it makes an ok car a rather nice beasty

Good luck

I used to worry, should I or shouldn't I. Test drive and then there is no question

Good luck
Can't beat a bit of boost!
