My B5 had circa 450bhp. It is a tad slower than that :FIREdevil:. I can't comment on a std S4 as it has been so long since I drove one. In fairness the B6 S4 has what - 344bhp + the milltek releasing a few extra horses. It is a fast but in relative terms.....

still 65bhp lower than your MODDED B5. A standard B6 is a better package than a standard B5. The B5 has more potential.

115bhp lower you mean, and the B5 has more potential purely down to the cost. If money were no object I suspect the B6 could be pushed harder than the B5.....

They are different cars. The B5 is more......dare I say it.....thugish....it is brutal and raw, the B6 is much more refined.

I based my initial estimate on the fact you have a full milltek. B6 S4 with a full milltek system pushes out more bhp than ones with the OEM system. Upto 20bhp more. The 385ish which I based my estimate on assumed you also had a remap.
