Resonated / non-resonated pipes

Post by Mike_K » Sat Sep 02, 2006 7:32 pm

there's lots of stuff on the site about Miltek exhausts, and I've been to their web-site.

But Im a bit stupid; I still dont know what resonated and non-resonated means - I suppose its to do with whether the silencer back box has anything in it ? but Im guessing.

Can anybody enlighten me ? In your answer can you tell me which one is louder !

mucho gracias

Basically the non resonated only has one silencer as opposed to two (one of which is called a resonator) and is therefore louder.
