I'm looking to replace my gearbox in my prefacelift s4 and was wondering if a 6 speed 2.8 box would be able to fit. If so would the ratios be different??

I looked into buying a B5 A4 2.8 quattro Avant a few years ago. They got S badge on the steering wheel etc but I'm pretty sure they were all five speeds?
