I realise that the general principle is fairly common between most vehicles but could really do with a set of photos and instructions on rear coil spring removal since one of mine is broken so they now need to come out as a pair. Also any views on replacing OEM with something no more expensive.

There is a decent write-up over on AudiSRS which I used the other week when replacing my rear coilovers.
Was a pretty straight forward job, although you may find spring compressors handy if you have them. I didn't, and resulted to using my friend's forklift truck to compress the springs!
