Hey Guys,

New on here and just wanted to say hi and ask a question.

Where are all the 2000-2001 low mileage S4 saloons?

I've been looking since Feb this year for a mint S4 on Pistonheads, Autotrader, Ebay, Gumtree, Trovit and in that time i've seen two.

The first one was when I first started looking, it was a black 2000 one with about 60k on it. Unfortunately at the time I didnt have about 7.5k

The second one was about a month ago, Satorin blue 2000 with 53k on the clock for 7k. I wasn't really interested at first as I want a Nogaro blue or black one, but I'm coming to realise you can't be too picky on colour if I want a late year low miler. So I rang him the other day to arrange a viewing, he already had a guy coming to view that day and he later sold it lol. Sods law!

So back to my original question, where are all the 2000-2001 low mileage S4 saloons? Does anyone know how many were made in those years and of each colour?

If anyone has one they want to sell me, don't hesistate to contact me!

I know what you mean Alex. I was looking for some time and so many have some huge milleage on them and most seem to be silver. Keep looking - the right one will turn up! You can buy mine for twice the market value .

Hey Sav, Yeah its not only the mileage though its the years, it's as if they didnt hardly make any in 2000/2001 compared to the amount of 1998/1999 S4's about.

Lol nah I think i'll pass on that offer thanks! How long did you wait to to find yours? Whats the year/mileage etc on yours, how much did you pay for it?

Well that's my loss then! It's a 2001 Avant in Avus Silver (that's grey to you and I) with Black Recaro's/ carbon interior. It's just turned 100k last week with full history. I paid £6750 from a dealer (a little more than I planned, but it was a really nice example). I'd been watching the market for a few months but couldn't do anything untill I'd sold my old motor. A number of them came and went before I sold, but this one came on the market just at the right time so I went for it! Very happy so far.

Nice, I do quite like silver/grey but as you said before there are quite a few of them. Plus if im gonna spend about 7k on an S4 I want it to be Nogaro or Black. I surpose I better just kick back and relax and just keep an eye out for now!
