4 Wheel Alignment in Kent

Post by wrightbr » Fri Jan 15, 2010 9:37 am

Hi,

Does anybody know of/recommend anywhere to get my 1999.5 S4 4 - wheel aligment done in the Kent area apart from going to the main dealers? Only place I know of is Elite in Essex but that is a bit of a trip and I am hoping there is somewhere a bit closer?

Also I have 18" RS4 replicas on my car and 10mm spacers on the front (to clear the cailpers). Does this mean that I cannot be set up to the Audi standard settings? Currently my fronts are wearing on the outside edge and the rears on the inside edge

Thanks
Brad

Thanks Dave. I emailed AMD last week for a quote and not had a reply yet? I think I will ring them tomorrow. Does anbody know if they supply/fit tyres as well?

Assume that AMD are well recommended on here?

Thanks
Brad

You could also try Bexley Motor Works, in Bexleyheath.

They have the Hunter Pro 4WLA machine there, they specialise in race prepping BMWS so they have the noggin to do a good job. I have not yet tried them, but have my RS4 booked into them in 2 weeks. I have used them before when I owned a BMW, I have confidence to let them near the Audi
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

Thanks Sonny.

Got it booked in now to AMD on Saturday. Heard a lot of good reports about them.

Thanks

Top job done by AMD on Sat. All done for a very resonable price.

Out of interest I am running toyos at the moment on 18" rims (235/40/18). Anybody running the same on their S4 then what tyre pressures are you running? I am running 38 psi all round but not sure if this is correct?

Cheers
Brad
