during the snow i crunched a rear wheel on a kerb hidden under snow with the car going sideways but only at a couple of mph, steering wheel has now moved off center and car feels like it sways about not as planted when sharp turning left and right, any indication of parts normally damaged in this kind of impact and also why has the wheel moved off center didnt think the cars were rear steer so why does a rear wheel impact move the steering wheel as if a tracking arm has bent?

If you've knocked one of the rear wheels out of alignment then the steering wheel will need to be at a slight angle to keep you going in a straight line.

You may have bent a tie rod or maybe even knocked the rear subframe out of alignment. Best thing to do is to take it to a four wheel alignment place and get them to take a look with it up on a ramp.

make sure your wheel bearing has not collapsed,fixed 2 this week after hitting kerbs in the snow

i cant hear any dodgy noises coming from it so i guess its fine?? or would that not be the case?? all comments and help are much appreciated.
