Oil change easy enough without using a lift/ramp?

Got my filter and new oil to chuck in but no longer have access to ramps so going to attempt to do the oil and filter change just by jacking the car up and using axle stands.

I know the sump plug is easy to get to as the last owner didnt tighten it up after the oil change, thankfully I noticed the oil leak and tightened it before all the oil dumped onto the motorway! Is the filter easy enough to get to and just to clarify is it the metal screw on type?

Cheers,

Russ

Just getting the undertray of while rolling around in a puddle can be a bit of a pain in the ass

Had that off beore in the past when said previous owner left the sump plug undone as I thought I had a major oil leak!! As it happens the cars parked in my pub car park at the mo with the nearside inner arch missing anyway as I replaced the headlight washer pump today as I had a leak.

Is the filter easy to get to?

If I remember right it's pretty much right near the sump plug, easy enough to get to.
