New Owner!!

Post by Playo » Tue Oct 21, 2008 1:01 pm

This afternoon I pick a '98 Nogaro Avant!

It's got a shade under 80k miles, F Audi SH, with receipts for a new clutch, water pump and ALL belts done at Audi last year.
Silver Grey leather with a walnut trim (Not my favorite combo but hey!)

The only bad points- The Digital display has the lines, rear wind screen wiper only works when wash is used, Curbed RS4 wheels. and a slight hiss in the rear passenger door from the central locking.

And I paid a little under £6k!! :D

Now I'm hoping to soon get the car improved with the help of the guys at MRC with a miltek/Re-map, and gutted pre-cats. 8)

I'll post some pics later.....

Hi,

I'm new too. Bought an 1999 S4 Avant, with 90k on the clock, best not tell you what I paid for it! :) Mine's silver with silver grey leather and carbon fibre trim and really pleased with it. All Audi service history bar the last one which is VW Independant Specialists or something and they did all the belts. I really want the MRC remap and some kind of exhaust but ever since buying it Shell eats all my money!

My screen has lines on it too, apparently there's no replacement screen you can just buy and fit (which seems ridiculous) and there only seems there's one company that will replace it too, can't remember how much but it was a shade under £200 I think.

Where are you from? I'm still trying to take it all in. I knew my last car inside out, but this seems a whole different kettle of fish! Different mods, things to change, there's plenty to read.

Good luck with it and have fun.

Well i'm happy enough and think it's a fair enough price :)

Yeah I'm still reading through all the info here, which is a credit to all who are involved.

South Wales I am mate ;)

Cool, got mine at a good price, not much cheaper than yours though and it does have a paint scrape to fix.

Been looking at a apr bi-pipe or tbb boot today as it's already had the DV's changed and feel I should change the TBB just in case. Still undecided which one to go for, there's hundreds of threads over the different Audi sites!

The S4 is fantastic value for money, I still love it!
