egt sensors both the same ?

well are both sides the same part, or can the same part be used

No, they are sided, and the control unit for them is coloured for each side; something like black, and orange/red......can't remember exactly though

whats the difference between the brown and the black egts black part no. ends with a f , brown ends with a g ?

Could well be, unfortunately haven't got my ETKA to hand so can't comment
But they will be for each bank. So for either side. Because as I said, they are sided, so you can't interchange them

The factory ones on some s4s are both the same and etka lists the replacement s a s the sided ones.
you just cut the tab off, so as far as i can see all are the same.
The brown one is shorter, but the sensors are the same, they are listed as replacements so they must be, and the rs4 ones are the same.
