To go on a 98 S4, with around 500 horses & H&R ARB set
Also reason for choice?
Any other alternatives?

Missed an obvious one - KW-V3's.

Essential if you want to maintain some ride comfort IMHO.

What have you done to your S4 to get 500bhp?

Bilstein PSS9 all the way. Had them on my S4 for over 2 years now and I've never looked back, even if they were pretty expensive.

PSS9 gets my vote

Excellent ride comfort, and superb handling, and plenty of adjustment (height and damping)

IMO KW v3's are an overkill, especially for road use, but that my opinion. And H&R's are also excellent, although don't have no direct experience.

Havent got 500 yet, im going for somewhere between 450 and 500 from MRC/RS4 intake/induct, RS6 turbos (probably with RS4 hot side housings) MRCs big ceramic coated exhaust manifolds, no cat 3"DPs, 630cc injectors, 10bar pump, FMIC (was going RS4 SMICs but Doug and Lucas swayed me), drive train stabiliser + map.

Still undecided on whether to get rods replaced while they are in there and exhaust aswell, custom, miltek or other :/ but definately dual all the way back. Will come to that in a bit!
Problem with exhaust is i want it to be relatively quiet, but still free flowing never going to happen lol

I've just switched from the RS4s that were on there to the PSS9s. I need to fiddle with the settings a little, to figure out how soft or hard I want it, but first impressions are that the PSS9s have already dropped my stopping distance, reduced nose dive, and keep the line in corners better. Give me a week or two and I'll have set it up right.

I had H&R's on the s4 , they were really good , I've got pss9's on the rs6 that i love , They've done 18 months and 20k and still work very well .
