Worlds most indecisive bloke finally comes to a decision!

Post by Alps » Fri Jun 06, 2008 10:29 pm

As the heading suggests - for months and months I just couldn't decide what I wanted. Do I keep the car and mod it to death? Do I sell and get an RS4? No. Wait. Do I sell and get an RS6?. No. Wait. I can't justify any of this.

Finally, after a lot of head scratching I decided to keep it. Then it was time to decide on what alloys to go for

Anyways, below is what I went for. I was going to wait till I dropped the car but that maybe some time away.

Now all I have to do is for some RS4 brakes with H8cak on Sunday. And have some H&R coilovers coming from Simon. :D

Very nice. Same arse down stance as my Avant though. I'm guessing stock suspension...

...is it the extra tail end weight of the Avant that does this or do the Saloons take this set too?

 if you look closely enough you may see a possible answer to the arse down stance ;)

I think avant rear springs are stiffer than saloon springs because coilover kits are different for an avant versus a saloon.
