ABS Sensor

Anyone know how much they are and how they are held into the hub?
keep getting the DIS flash up evey now and then.
Cant be much of a job!
Your help please.
PS Anyone got one spare to try/buy??

They just push in. Get under the car and see. Mine fell out when having the Sh1t pounded out the pinch bolt when trying to replace the control arms. I was amazed at how poor the push fitment was. Then test with vagcom. I bet you might be able to reach if you just slide under the car on the street. Sensor is located towards the front of the upright

I think VagCom will tell you if one is dead and some fall out as mentioned and some can be a real beetch to get out!

Check with Vag-Com but you may have a problem with the ABS module itself, it's a common problem. You can get them repaired for £100. I recently changed my rear wheel bearings and tried to take the ABS sensor out, totally seized. Snapped off in the end and had to repalce it, £80. When I did the other side I disconnected the sensor from under the rear seat instead.

In fact now I think about it I would rather replace the ABS module again than have to try to remove another wheel sensor!!
