Electrically, just the plugs from a facelift car are required.

You'll need to cut yours off, and solder the replacements on, using heatshrink to insulate them. The colour codes of the wires are the same, so you can't go wrong.

Can the plugs be bought or is it a scrap yard job?

what are you using oem Xenon, or a non Xenon facelift lamp. I see that some people just use a standard any model facelift lamp and just put a Xenon kit in it, dip and main... looks good.

I got my plugs from a junkyard, just hacked them off a 2000-spec car.

Cost me £1.00 for both sides. The plugs are the same for all 1-piece, HID and standard units.

Plugs are same .. couple of colours are diff. but it shouldnt phase u ...
If you go proper xenons.. you'll need the ballasts, internal wiring for xenons(to ballasts), level motors if u dont have, aslo you have to get the polarity for the level motors the correct way ... or 1 goes up and other will go down(if crossed) .. :biggrin2:

I got oem ballasts, they fit in the h/light underneath, so u need the loom inside which will come with the xenon headlights, but not halogens, so u need to decide how your gonna go... aftermarket xenons or oem ...? level motors ... self explanatory really ... look at ETKA parts manual and reference what you have and dont ... hth :D

No dont think can, a lot of people just go for standard lights and use aftermarket Xenon kits... there is some nice stuff about.
