Right guys and girls I was at MRC yesterday trying to get a few more psi out of my car, so after sorting the boost leak and a change of oil for the rear diff we set out to see what we get, two weeks prior to this I was achieving 25psi and 21 and red line with maf reading of 405 on standard 2" no cats downpipes so I changed to rs4 downpipes to see what we can get. We headed off and was only achieving 22psi and 18 at red line she has dropped

come back another pressure test change of n75 valve mind you every sensor on this car is brand new the engine was built from crank up and engine is only covered 2k with 1k being with the n75 unplugged, still no change so we was going to put it down to hot sides problem when Doug goes check the dv's I said there brand new apr r1 £100 each so we decided to check them anyway and there was the problem they were fooked

bits of the internals of the dv was flying around lucky none went into my turbo well put the 710's on and away we go

very happy with end result.
that shows sometimes you cant beat standard parts ollyW took some pictures hopefully he can add them to the post for you lot to see
cheers

After seeing mustys, i would send the diverters back to apr straight away - i could maybe understand 1 failure as being bad luck but both failed and the brass 15mm washer was flying around ready to go through the engine! It is not just that metal part - when the valves are not working you have a big internal leak - so turbos working too hard.

Just goes to show, OEM parts are usually of higher quality, and lots of R&D goes into them.
Even if you have to replace the 710N's more often, I'd still have 710N's any day!

This is a bit worrying. I also found this thread:

I e-mailed APR about it.

These
http://www.vag-tuner.com/acatalog/copy_ ... _audi.html are excellent diverters, we have tested these over a period of time, removed them and done a manual PSI check, they held rock solid. My friend ran thenm for over 30000mls

Cool so your on ko4s, pretty good boost there, are they stock or rs6. Quite amazing how much boost K04 are running these days. I like it. Did you get a bigger maf figure?

it was 402 and now you run 2 psi more than what you were running at that.
