is yours the avant? think the avant springs are a bit harder to account for the extra weight. This might make the car sit a bit higher. also might need a bit of time to settle in, but 15mm sounds a lot

I reckon it will settle. Although as mentioned by Fletchie, if you've fitted RS4 springs to a saloon, the arse end will stick up a little more.

When my car first had coilovers fitted it didn't look too low. After a couple of days they must have dropped by about 15mm.
Don't worry about the look too much, it's the improved performance that will put the smile on your face

well the ride is just about perfect, and new control arms made a world of difference to the drive

Should settle curtis .... take a car load of fat blokes* for a good spin on some bumpy roads - that'll sort it.
* or fat chicks (I'm not sexist)

did you tighten the bolts with the car in the air or on the ground on it's wheel's ? as I think I remember somebody telling me that the car has to be on the ground before finally tightening every thing up to ensure it had settled properly before taking it for a spin

I know that applies to wheel bolts - but didn't think it applied to suspension/coilovers! My c/o's were installed at MRC - everything was done and tightened on the 4-point lift (car was in the air)

Do you know what suspenstion it had on before curtis11?
Measure it from the wheel arch to the ground in a couple of days & do a search on this forum for comparative info.

all the bolts that fasten through bushes should be tightened whilst the suspension is in a loaded state (weight of the vehicle on the wheels) so as not to preload the bush and cause premature failiure.this applies to all vehicles not just audi s4`s

What he said. Hand tighten. Let the car settle overnight. Measure the centre of the hub
to the arch. Jack up and take off wheels. Lift the arm with a jack until it's the same height.
Tighten everything to specified torque. (you can leave out the settle overnight bit if you
want, any movement should be within tolerance).
