Photoshop favour please ...

Post by S4TAN » Sun Mar 16, 2008 12:51 pm

...can any Photoshop artisans out there do a quick job on my wheels please? A few different shades of gunmetal/smoked silver type colours would be nice .... help me decide which is the best shade to get them painted...

TIA.

I'll leave the artwork to the more capable, but are the wheels spaced at all currently (need to see the car from front or rear of course - not shown in the pics)? From seeing the car the other week I thought the wheels looked great, but stick out too far, they would look so much better IMO if they could be tucked in a little.

Are they spaced for your brakes or something?

Yes Graham - wheels are spaced: 5mm spacers front and 8mm spacers rear. Fronts needed spacers to clear the brakes - rears just for aesthetics. I like the wider stance - gives the optical illusion of a slightly "wide-body look" ... fills out the arches better (purely IMO, it's all subjective and in the eye of the beholder etc)

To me it looks to have gone beyond filling the arches (as say Dougs) and more almost coming out the arches. Definately personal taste and if that is how you have chosen it to look, say no more.

While the wheels are being painted, get those calipers in silver with the lambo decals like Dougs RS4. Please please please!

If you want dark wheels why not go for 15" painted steel rims with big tyres. Much cheaper and just as tacky! :assflash:
