Why do you think the yanks fuel is poor? It's better than ours. Remember, they don't use RON they
use an average of the RON and MON. Their 93 is equivalent to at least our 98, probably better. MON
is what is important as it's measured under load.

It doesn't seem to read that way when H.P is quoted though.

Me needs to read up more on that MON and RON ..I recall summert but not all the gubbins....

Not sure. I think sometimes we get fed PS as HP. The yanks also have stricter emissions
in certain states (believe it or not).

the thing is with our emissions is its all OBD on newer cars. I know someone who went thru emissions with bigger dps exhaust and test pipes and still passed.

Standard S4 1/4 mile is 14.3@98 according to Audi. US model is 14.4@96. 0-60 5.4 vs 5.6
