1000bhp S4, Project Satans-Child ...

Post by satanschild » Sat Jan 12, 2008 12:44 am

Well.....

Some of you already know me and know what i set out to do ....

The goal has now changed and the target is now to be the first in the world to run a 8 second pass in an audi engined audi....

The project has also had some major changes in the last 6 months,
to achieve our goal i have now made some extreme decisions to ditch the 4wd and dedicate this to a pure drag car.

Along with £20,000 already invested in the engine side of satans child
we have now just invested £30,000 in a new chassis and drivetrain....
I have chosen the very best in this industry to build this for us.
The fastest pro mod drag racer in the country
www.robinson-race-cars.co.uk, to help us with this.

YES this is the first rwd audi s4 in the world.....

I am also proud to announce, with the full support of rs246.com, (cheers Andiroo) that we will be revealing project satans child, at rs246 live
for the whole world to see for the first time...

So if you haven't already signed up for rs246 live now is the time to do so.

More to follow

Nice one Jack, proud to have you onboard and part of RS246 mate  let's hope you get that 1/4 record your after. And thanks Grizz for putting us in touch with each other :D

Jack's album is here http://www.rs246.com/modules/pnCPG/Copp ... ?cat=19907, and this guy just shows what can be done when you think outside of the box so to speak.

Speaking to Jack over the last few days he would welcome any comments/questions/suggestions you guys have on this project, and he is quite prepared to share with us all the advice, pitfalls and headaches he's had over the last few years to get this far - top man

Me thinks we need to get some media coverage at RS246Live!

Cheers,

Andiroo

well not a competion deadline, as this wont be compleate untill late in 2008 i doubt.

but i can promise that everyone is working so hard to get this into a running car at least on a base map to bring along and run.. this will also be a good chance for us to continue mapping the car on the track..

we have to realistic about build time to compleat the car...
we only decided to change the project in october 2007. andy has been very busy with the cad drawings for the chassis and drivetrain and bellhousing.

andy has just compleated much the same project for another customer and it took him 4 months, but this time it will be alot easier as he knows how to overcome some of the problems he would have to work out, so we have a head start there, there is also some very long lead times to have many of these parts cusom built, and then shiped from the usa ....

there are over 1500 hours in a build as this, so please bare with us were doing all we can to make sure it runs well ....

but what ever .....

satans child will make it to rs246 live, we have our hearts set on it...

cant wait ... jack
