Hi, has anybody ever tried to change the power steering hoses on their B5 S4 Avant - 2000 facelift.

One of mine is leaking slightly on the drivers side, and it would be nice to know if I can do this work myself.

Any advice appreciated.

There a pig to get at, I got some spare hoses if u need, sure it aint just the banjo bolt loose on the connector..?
Easier to tighten that, but yr half way in at that point anyhow, behind the plastic cover by the track control arm, o/s.....

I havent changed a hose, but did the whole rack.... hth ... :?

Thanks chaps.

I'll have a look.

Have had a hard season of sprints, and maybe something has gone - hopefully not the rack.
