Hello Mate, I'm from Swansea, had mine about 3 months. I would be intersted to compare cars and see if some of the little vices mine has are present in them all! Is your S4 Tuned ?

cheers

Had mine about 5 years. It's on 150K at the minute as I drive to Bristol and back each day.

Car is standard apart from the MIJ Performance exhaust with 100 cell cats.

Needs new front discs and pads all round at the minute, so am looking for somewere local who knows what they are doing.

Not had too many problems with it, athough the airbag warning light has just come on.

Sonic - Approx how much was the MIJ exhaust with the 100cell cats? Does it include downpipes (ie from the turbo back)?

Can't believe you have an exhaust like that and no map - you have to have that seen to!!

Hi, nice to know there are other rs and s4 owners in the area!! Though i'm further west than yourselves (any further and i'll be in the sea)!! Only time i see any RS's or S4's in the area is when the holiday makers are around. Though saying that someone in the area has just bought an S5, so i'm trying to track the owner down to see what his machine is like.

I'd be interested to compare my mapped but standard exhaust car with your unmapped but probably better sounding car !

Are either of you up for a quick meet up next week/weekend ?

Well my car is not running right, but does make a pretty good sound. I'd be happy to show you. When i hit 160K, think i will take it to MRC and get them to check it out.

The only reason i got the exhaust was because one of my cats went. Audi wanted stupid money for a new one.

MIJ built a complete custom exhaust for mine, with the 2 cats, for 800. After i had paid, they said that they had miscalculated and only chargd for one cat. I said thanks!!!! so had a cracking deal. I watched as they fabricated it in the workshop. impressive stuff.

Price still sounds quite good, hoping it included down pipes.

Not sure what the Milltek full system costs, but a fair bit more I think.

If yours isnt running right, one thing you might want to check for is a boost leak. It could be many othe reasons but a leak could end up costing you a turbo/s if it's not spotted fairly quickly.

I have a kit you can borrow , it'll only take 5 minutes.

Back in the day, i would have done a lot of work on my cars. These days. i would not know where to start!!!!

If your know what your doing, we should catch up. A quick test of my boost an you can see what you think of the exhaust!
