Braided brake hoses

Post by JUT » Sun Jul 29, 2007 3:22 pm

Does anyone make a set for the 1998 S4 Avant, and if so, who sells them?

Cheers

Goodridge make them, I have some on mine, supplied and fitted by Dialynx. I expect all the tuners will do them

Got mine off J W Racing on Ebay. Give them a call. I think they can get you pretty much any kit, Sorry but I don't have the number so you will have to check Ebay.

Think I paid about £60 +P&P.

Whenever I enquire with people they say that Goodridge list them for the A4 Quattro Avant but not for the S4 Quattro Avant, only the saloon. Can anyone confirm if the A4 Avant and S4 Avant take the same hoses? Cheers

Id be interested in sourcing these, I have a split flexi pipe on my car so need to fix that....

Europerformance appear to sell them, but as you say they only list A4 Quattro Avant

I need to get some new lines as well as It was pointed out that mine had started cracking when I had It MOT'd but couldn't find anywhere that list's them for a f/l avant but Hi-spec did say they could make a set up using mine as a template, but I've not got round to doing it yet,

one thing to think about is if you go on to fit the bigger S8 discs at the rear very slightly longer outer rear hoses would make it much easier to move the calipers outward, only say 20mm or so.

Guys,

I have just found a source for these, but before I give out all the details I wanna make sure they are the correct items as I found a part no for the S4 Specifically, the company that I found is ordering them from the factory..... he said around 7 days... will report back......
