Yes can vouch for the Aero's.
A drastic improvement over the old wipers. Sweep/clean much better, and obviously look much much better.
They are actually from the Passat.
I missed out on the GB so ordered them from my local dealer.

I got a set a while ago, easy to put on and pretty effective although I cant say I usually drive 100+ especially in the rain!!

As it happens I installed a set yesterday. They do clear windscreen much better than the stock ones, and don't squeak (though to be fair my old blades needed changing). Plus they look good.
A couple of tips regarding changing them:
Don't drop the black plastic cap over the nut (it's 13mm by the way) on the wiper arms down into the engine bay..
The old arms pop off with no trouble if you put the arms into the "service position" (fold them up). But watch the edge of the bonnet when doing it.
Same when fitting the new arms, fold them up when fitting them (you don't need to though - but it can be a bit easier if you do).
The new arms aren't splined like the old ones but they go on fine.
With a bit of luck I've even put mine on the right way round too!

If there are enough interested parties, perhaps another group buy could be organised??

Yep - I'd def. be interested in a Group buy.
Also interested in replacing the back one (also available from vagparts), just so i have a clear vision of who I have left in my dust........

I read in this weeks Auto Express that Bosch have just released an aftermarket areo wiper kit which fits onto the std B5 arm - meaning that it should only cost around £20 to upgrade if you don't want to go the whole hog.

Looks much better if you do fit the whole lot though.
