Just like to say hello as I'm new to this forum.
Right now on to the serious stuff. I've just renewed the secondary water pump on my 1999 s4 following the instructions in the "How to" sticky. Everything went ok - job done until I've started the engine. Its running very lumpy so I did an engine scan and the following codes came up.
17952 - throttle actuation potentiometer signal too high
16622 - turbocharger boost sensor (A) circ high input (G31)
17580 - throttle actuation potentiometer sign 2 signal too low
16497 - intake air temp circ high input
When I removed the intake manifold I disconnected all of these wires. Can anyone tell me if this is the norm until the ECU resets these circuits on idle. If anyone can provide any advice on these problems it would be much appreciated as I don't want to attempt driving the car as it is
Cheers

RE: Help - not running right
Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and letting the ecu reset itself? Obviously i assume that you plugged in all of the leads you disconnected ... and in the right place? (did you get the 2 plugs mixed up that connect to the MAP sensor and throttle body valve? ...)
Oh, hello and welcome ...

Have you reset the codes and had them return?
