Ive got a choiuce of going for an H&R spacer kit that comprises of the spacers 5mm each side, and also 5 bolts which are longer to give a tighter fit.
This is coming in at £30.95 per pair
Eibach pro spacers come in at £26.43 per pair. No bolts though.
Which is the better spacer.
And where can I buy bolts from if I go for the Eibach?
This is all going on an S4 with B6 s4 replicas 18 inch, 235 40 18 tyres.
Totally standard suspension. Im going for spacers because ill be putting the RS4 B7 / RS6 Caliper brake conversion.
Regards

Saf - as you know i have the Eibach Pro-Spacers (5mm) all round - i didn't need longer bolts for them with my B6 reps ...
Don't know if they're better than the H&R spacers or not but the Eibach ones are very nice - well-machined, light, strong and properly balanced.

I get the feeling that the Eibach ones are better.
So I guess that the bolts are definitely long enough to go in securely without a problem.
Im going to be popping over to MRC I hope on tuesday, so if youre around then pop down.
IF I dont need the bolts then all the beter.
The link you gave me sell both sets I outlined above. I was told by someone I would need longer bolts if I ran spacers on the car. I guess that 5mm is not that much.
Ill be having exactly the same reps as yours. Do you kno wwhere your reps are made mate?

Julian's description sounds very similar to the H&R to me, £4 approx for five bolts sounds reasonable and they will be good quality so I would go with the all in H&R IMHO.

You will need longer bolts I am sure... with my 5mm Eibach spacers fitted behind my B6 Orginal Alloys I was only getting about 3 full turns on the orginal bolts and 7-8 with the old wheels....
in theory if you add a 5mm spacer you need a bolt 5mm longer than the stock ones.

Daemon tweeks supplied mine when I bought 5mm eibach spacers from them. I think they are M14 not 13.

Thanks Jonny - I was thinking they were 13s because the bolts i've got at the moment say 13 on the heads - but maybe that's nothing to do with the size(?) - can you remember the length of the bolts you got for 5mm spacers?

For bolts you could try SRB Power - Had this on file probably taken from the Forum at some point in the distant past...
H&R wheel bolts supplied from £1 each x 16 = £16.00 + VAT
They may also be able to supply locking wheel nuts

You will need to ge the correct seat on the bolt
OE wheels are radius and aftermarket inc reps are generally 60 deg taper
P W Motorsport offers both spacers and bolts
