Reduced power - faulty egt sensor

Post by yorkie » Mon Apr 09, 2007 6:12 pm

According to Vag-Com I have a faulty egt sensor and have ordered a new one.

My question is will the car in some way be reducing engine power to protect itself with this sensor not working?

Since I've known about the problem I'm not sure if it is my imagination but I seem to struggle to get away from some pretty mundane vehicles.

Any ideas?

Cheers
