You should read that entire thread. Make sure you are sitting on something urine proof
though as you WILL pi55 yourself laughing.

To be fair, that guy has a few mods (manifolds, full exhaust, cams and NOS) and has done the 1/4 in
14.0 dead which is not too shabby. Trouble is, these guys overtake someone and then claim to have
beaten them in a 'race'......

On another thread in that forum a guy claims to have beaten a B6 S4 in his ZS120 :knob:

An S4 with a boost leak, dodgy DV's and a bad MAF wtihout a remap (Which are a dime a dozen out there) would probably get taken by the ZS180 in that state of tune. Dare him to take on any of the "healthy" cars on here ;)

Jonny,
As you say, some of them over take a car then claim to have beaten them in a 'race'.
Like the one who claims to have between a 911 turbo away from the lights then nullifies it with '...in a traffic jam in Paris'

Is there more than one post about this S4 ? I could only find the one you linked to.

A guy in the 'zs120 vs. hot hatches and wins thread' claims to have beaten a B6 S4.

Earlier in that main thread (about page 30?) DaveV6 claims his car can do 40 - 95 in about
6 seconds. When I point out (posting as bigjona) that those figures put him in supercar
territory (sub 10 0 - 100) things get a bit ugly

Played and modded lots of rovers in my time. KV6 engines which is the one in the 45 180bhp car. Theses are not that great. I have a 1997 Rover convertible with a 2.0 16 valve turbo engine in it. Now that is fun.

Yes seen that car. have 1 of the D16a engines too. But wanted factory look under the bonnet. 250bhp with torque to match is enough for a FWD Convertible. LOL and did build it for the Girlfriend too.

best thing that you can do with a ZR160 is remove the VVC engine and and put it into something light.

My outlaw has a Metro GTi...ok it ain't no S or RS beater but its a fun and nippy shopping trolley. Shes 83 and she's forever wupping the asses of the boy racers down her way! 105 bhp in a car that weighs little more than an egg box. S'fun, but scary on the M5 and M4 and especially the M25...best it stays in Devon really.

Little off topic sorry.
