My front door windows seem to get sucked out at high speed, this happens around 150mph (on private road blah blah)

does anyone else know of this problem, i was told putting my A/C on re-circulate would cure the issue with less pressure inside the cabin, it didn't work.

My be my rubbers need looking at.

Kies, yup. I too discovered that problem on a private road last week. Apparently, it's a very common problem. A strange one, seeing that these cars are designed to travel fast!!

Haven't been on the private road again, but soon as I do I'll try the re-circulate remedy.

If you manage to test it first please let us know

Yes I have the Same problem too, Also noticed that the car goes light on the front end over 150mph+

Any permanent fixes possible?

I wonder if minheas got any solutions to this ,were all moaning about 150 plus hes doing 190 plus ,there must be somthing that can be done

IIRC this problem has been posted before - not sure if it's the windows being sucked out so much as the tops of the front doors themselves. One of the forum dudes posted up a solution whereby you put your knee against the inside of the door, around the handle region, then gently pull on the top of the door inwards towards you with little pulls (with the windows wound fully down first so they don't break!) - this bends the top of the window frame back in a few millimetres and can cure the prob. I did it and it worked for me....

I now only get wind noise when either travelling at fifty billion miles per hour, or after a big indian meal...

You're right about it being just the top of the door.

Oh, and I like the cheap fix solution. Just a bit of brute force needed! Unfortunately, I don't have much in the way of brute force... or force in general

LOL - brute force isn't required Alps!!; just gentle force....with the door open and the window down use your body-weight and lean back with your hands on the top of the door frame and your knee pushed up against the inside of the door holding it in place - that should be sufficient as you only need to pull the top in a couple of mm....

I don't think its something you can 'fix' the air pressure bows the doors out. Apparantly you can see the sky if you have time to look

Now anyone who has the time to look is what I call a driver

You can adjust the doors.
Remove the trim, you will notice four torx bolts, two each side of the door frame. Loosen these slightly and pull the top of the door towards the center of the car. Tighten the torx bolts up and refit the door trim. Make sure you refit the felt around the door lock pin, otherwise it will rattle.

Apparently there is nothing you can do... its the wind pressure pushing down on the roof at high speed. Unless you got a sunroof (Which I do ) you are stuffed

There is something you can do: - I can't hear the wind noise at all, no matter what speed I drive at - I play extremely heavy punk rock at excessively high volume - this masks all ambient noises and has the added bonus of making me drive like a b*stard.

No apparently there is nothing you can do about it so just stop the F.....g moaning about it!
