Paper ones (Haynes and the likes) don't seem to exist.

I got one from ebay. Like this one

But, despite the listing, ElsaWin only runs on XP, not Win98.
ETKA also needs 1280x1024 to run.

It's only a little bit illegal to sell that stuff on ebay if you ask me...

That's OK then, so long as it's only a little bit illegal. Would you say it's more or less illegal than doing 188 mph on a public highway?

Seriously, though. With the prices Audi stealers charge and the sparsity of decent specialists (I had to drive over 50 miles today to get an annual service from someone I trust), it's not surprising that there's a demand for these.

Al, my 188mph was nowhere near a UK public highway

And my record is 191 actually :D

Sorry - didn't mean to understate your achievement, but I was referring to your recent foray into the little known sport of car ballet.

I know it was in France, but I was under the impression that they had speed limits throughout the country.

Doc - you're at risk of becoming something that is an anagram of your christian name...... :bigblink:

Damn - It must be that 4th log of yours!

Dunno what you mean though. I have nothing but admiration for Mihnea's achievement in:
A) Getting the car to that speed
B) Staying alive when she sh1t hit the fan and
C) Still wanting to make it go faster

My point was that we all choose which laws to obey, be they copyright, speed limits, or sex with animals so let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Allan (sorry about the second 'l' )

PS - Mihnea, any chance of a discount on a remap?

Lol, no worries Al, matter of fact, I've hit 300 km/h tonight on my drive to Paris twice :D

I must be a maniac or something, the buzz I get at speed is just incredible.... I really need to set that top speed limiter at 250km/h, otherwise something really bad might happen to me when my guardian angel decides to tell me to sod off....

Cheers,

Mihnea

PS:@S4TAN: nice job with the anagram, too bad with the LL though :D

The only workshop manual that officially exists is the Bentley electronic one. AFAIK.

http://www.bentleypublishers.com/product.htm?code=ab55

This covers the US A4 and S4.

Living on borrowed time, French police won't mess around if you get cought, they will bang you up and crush the car doing those speeds
You are much safer doing that speed here. At least when you get banged up you can speak the lingo.....
