RS6 Alloys on S4

Post by S4Quattro » Sun Oct 08, 2006 9:39 pm

Anyone fitted RS6 replica wheels to their car? I'm thinking about doing this, but not sure whether to go for 18" or 19". Will obviously lower it aswell, subtle not gangsta! Any pictures/comments appreciated.

Those look like 18 inch wheels

Or are they 19?

Im definitely thinking of getting the same wheels. Reps.

Does anyone kno whwere to get some good quality reps from?

Ones that dont crack or made in china.

Some italians ones supposed to be good.

I want to go for this with the RS4 B7 dicsc, and RS6+ callipers.

I didnt think they would look as nice as they do on you your car rolsks. they look very nice indeed.

Was told there are no isseues with kerbing them as they go inwards, and also very easy to clean.

Best place to buy them from please? anyone?

thanks

Saf,

You can kerb them - the rims at least.
I bought a set from an owner who was selling to buying some 18" versions with at et of 32 because the set he had with et35 just failed the porsche caliper on his big brake kit and he didn't want to use spacers.

I nearly went for some of these because I think they really suit the S4 and it keeps it very OEM - only reason I didn't is that something else came up.

I think they look superb on Rolskii's car, but I've also heard it said that they suit a silver car better than any other colour

I would swap my RS4 9 spokes for 5 spoke RS6's given the chance. If they were as clean as mine obviously!

I have to say I really fancy a set of RS6 wheels but it's further down the list of things to do at present

ive got a pic at home with mine on 19's as im running the stock 17s for now (purely for FATs times ;)) will put the 19s back on as one has a bald tyre which is like a hundred odd quidlast time to replace 235/35 anyone got a better price? and that one is kerbed and slightly bent from a masssssive pot hole !!! that did ^ to the inside rim need get it fixed, cant wait to get them back on! :)

also.. last time i had them on a wheel balancer i noticed the inside rims are never perfectly round, i think its because of the large area with no support that lets them bend with very low profile (35) tyres on.

Have fitted 18s on my avant and think they look great with the H&R springs. Will post a pic soon as fitting the chrome mirrors tonight if the weather holds!
