You can always go further!
I love that car by the way, had a good drive home alongside it from a Northern meet a couple of months ago.
How far did he go with the turbo swap? Intercoolers? Fuelling? And what about the exhaust? After going to the trouble of fitting K04's, it'd be a shame not to get the most out of them.
Other obvious suggestions would be brakes and suspension

Exhaust would be the obvious first stop, get a nice aftermarket system with no precats and 100 cell main cats. Milltek would do nicely :D
Of course, you need a remap to take full advantage, so if you can afford to uprate the fuelling system and get RS4 intercoolers then do it all at the same time, then get remapped. This is assuming you are one of the lucky few with a money tree growing in your garden.

As above - miltek and subsequent remap. Then ENJOY it!!! :D

I would do the exhaust last. I have never been a believer in wasting money on an exhaust unless it needs replacement. Yes you get a great sound, but relative to cost the power gains are not great. One day the standard exhast will fail, then I would look at an aftermarket unit.

For now I would get a set of intercoolers, uprated fuel pump & injectors then head down to MRC, have the pre-cats gutted & a custom map done to take advantage of the new bits. Should see you well into the 400's. Exhaust's only benefit in my eyes is the sound. Of course different if you are totally de-catting or spending huge dosh on 100 cel cats, but again, bang for buck, I dont think exhasts are high up on the list.

that car,s performance is just waiting to be unleashed..RS4 intercoolers, milltek and a remap would do it the world of good..get some air flowing through them turb,s..the noise from the exhaust aint gonna be that bad..once its remapped with performance in mind the whistle from the turb's without precats will keep you occupied for a long time.. just enjoy...

Ahh, just realise this is the car as per the other post. Get the maf changed and the thing should pull like an absolute train.

Why is everyone so set on getting the exhaust replaced? so much money, not much performance increase. should be last on the list.

The performance increase with a full exhaust system and remap should be very noticable. Even if the precats are already gutted, you will still be going from a 400 cell main cat to a 200 or 100 so it should flow much better and give you a fair bit more in the higher revs.

I did hear a rumour that that car eats MAF sensors. If you can't find the cause of that problem, it might be worth seeing if you can do the hitachi MAF conversion. They don't fail nearly as much.

Have to agree with Zero. If the Exhaust is OK leave it alone. RS4 intercoolers and oil cooler would be my first port of call engine wise. Set of anti rollbars and brakes to match the turbos.

After run pump mod is easy, cheap and brilliant. Short shifter kit is also a must IMO.

i think a poll is in order and see how many people think that exhaust,s should come way dwn the list..so far i see most people that wouldn,t change theirs till it fails already have a miltek on there car..
i only changed mine cos i got a good deal and my car was put in a magazine whilst it was being fitted..
i fitted a shortshift,DTS,boost gauge and DV's in 1 go but the car still ran the same..put the exhaust on and it came alive..even more so now the precats are gutted..
