Hi All, My interior light keeps coming on when braking!! its a bit intermittent but annoying at night, sounds like an earth problem to me? anybody suffered the same thing or have any ideas please.

door switches are notoriously dodgy, my interior lights come on if i've been parked with the sun on the drivers door for a while, seems the heat makes the switch stick. have you got a pre or post facelift, the post facelift will light the open door indicator if it's the switch.

mine sometimes stay on when i start up/
have to turn off get out lock up un lock get in start up and then it goes off
by then im p/////d off especilly if its raining.tee hee

a good slam of the door usually sorts mine out

its a 99 facelift dave, the only open door that lights up on the dis is the rear one cant see any visible swithches for the doors, how does the interior light work does it work electrically thru the door latch?

there's a switch hidden in the lock mechanism
