Anyone running 255 on 19"s, would they look too wide... been offered RS6 replicas at a silly price. I like the rims although some say would look a bit too much. Or do I go for the safer option of 18s on 235s...your thoughts please thanks

i run 235/35 on 19*8 rs6 replicas and they fit fine, i think you would only have issues on the rubbing of the wishbone at the back on the top, mine is very close. I think if i could get 255/35 on my wheels i would do it, how wide are the rs6 replicas? the only think i wouldnt want to do was space out the wheels so they stick outside the body too much.

I think they are 8.5, I run 235s on my standard rims although they are a bit close to the wishbone, hence my concerns!! cheers

if they are 8.5 i would recon they would definetly hit, maybe a 10mm spacer would clear this, i think its trial and error, unless someone can work out the mathematics of the rim width compared to the ET offset to a 235 8" wide wheel, would look really fat tho!!!!!! i wish my 235's were 255's when you look at the car from behind

they should do , i had 265/30/19's on the rear & 235's on the front with a set of rs6 reps .

Anyone delt with Wheel Mania before?

Yep - I got some wheels+tyres for my BMW from them - had to chase the delivery up for a week or so after the promised delivery date and the internal surface of the wheels corroded within a year causing air leaks (i had to pump all 4 tyres up about once every week) - ended up taking them off and putting the factory fitted ones back on......

No way will they fit in the front arches! I have some 255/35*19 tyres that i wanted to get on but no joy - you need the rs4 widebody to get those tyres to fit.

Velocity Motorings RS4 reps are ET38 and they claim (and back up on Audizine) they fit B5 S4 (and a lot more) with 245s (19", 8.5" wide alloy).
