Hello guys.

Well first an update from the "HELP " post.I returned my ecu and it came back working.so now it was surging between 5 and 10 psi.so i have now replaced the N75 valve and the surging has stopped.but the car is only boosting from 4 to 8 psi.which feels pretty poor.I still cant find any leeks. However I have always had the faults 45C5/45C9(exhaust temp sender1-G235/2-236 open circuit/short to positive)present.will this effect the boost or do they only cause problems when turbos get hot.if you MRC chaps are watching do keep they above parts in stock and if so i could get the car down in mid july if you have any slots available. Its a pain I feel im almost there.I have checked the DV,s,the F-hose .changed tha MAF and lambda sensors, and now the N75.oh and a temp sensor that was showing a fault.Im stook noo ?? :(

Is your car standard, also what year is it?

Im no expert, but i think those faults mean your exhaust gas temp sensors are out and need replacing. That looks like it will cure your problem.

its a 1998 and I had it chipped last week. but its been down on power since I got it.Does that mean that the sensors dont only play a part when the turbo temp is high.what will these faults actually do.ie how is the power reduced.

if your EGT sensors are faulty then they will put the car in2 limp mode and yes the power will be dwn..remapped or not..thay reduce the power through the ECU..mine was faulty when i bought the car and once replaced the car was transformed..
