Short Shifter fitted! very short!

Earlier I asked about removing the centre console in order to fit this to a preface lift car. Well I did remove the console, its actually very easy and wow did it make the whole job easier. I tried to start with to do it in place but it was a real bugger and very awkward. If anyone ever need to remove the centre console give me a shout, you'll have it out in 10 minutes
So its in, I went for the greatest reduction, I think that was about 35%, but I think its a little short so I will probably go for the middle setting. I almost think the movement is too short and it has lost any hints of smoothness, 'notchy' as some of the other threads have suggested it might become, is an understatement, I actually think its just to rough. Anyway we will see what it is like once I have reduced it to the next setting.
Other than that the kit is pretty good, everything fits well, it is much tighter that the stock shifter whose bushings had significant slop. Though fitting the replacement clips on the end of the new bushings is tight to say the least.
This must have taken me about 4-5hours including the faffing around getting the right tools for the job and working out how to get the console out. Next time should have it cracked in under the hour
I think once the leverage difference is reduced I would say it must be the bext £40 spent
