RE: The most expensive S4 Avant?
A really nice car, but I just cannot see it selling at that price for 6-8k more you could buy a very good RS4 instead.
I can't really see the 01 S4 being worth more than 16k sterling myself.

RE: The most expensive S4 Avant?
Thats crazy. Just paid 13k for my 2000 model with recaros, sun roof etc wtih 35k on the clock - from an Audi Dealer with 1 year warranty etc etc. Fine it was not an avant... that may add 2k to the price being a newer 2001 model... but it is not even a 2001.5 model!

RE: The most expensive S4 Avant?
Registered just 2 weeks after mine was: Nice to think that mine might be worth 20K but I don't think so!
However if it is in very good condition, with the low mileage and the promise that "any items that need attention are addressed" and a warranty then it could be worth making an offer for someone who really wants a B5 S4.
I also note that it has the same rear parking sensors that I have. I only got these because I bought mine direct from a German dealer. I checked, and these sensors were not available on cars bought through UK dealers. I have never seen any other S4 in the UK with them. That suggests that this car is a "personal import" too. No problem there, but it certainly means that 20K gives someone a big profit: Mine has a higher spec and cost me 34K. 40% depreciation in 4.5 years is pretty good going!
