Audi S4 just bought... NICE!

Post by ZeroK66 » Fri Mar 10, 2006 11:54 am

Hello people...

Newbie(ish) here. I have owned a few toys in my time... prior to this S4 I had a 2.8q - very dull!

The car I am getting is being sold by a dealer w/ 35k on the clock. Its imola & has blue suade recaros.

Its a facelift 2000 model & has been "chipped" and has an exhaust. What chip and exhaust gawd only knows - hoping you guys can help me out with my first steps.

I seem MRC? mentioned a few times... are they prefered over the likes of AMD? What should my first checks on the car be - what should I be monitoring over the coming weeks?

Cheers,
Leon

Not driven her yet... she is being prepared by the dealer. I paid a VERY fair price for it, so I am very happy. I traveled 6 hours return on trains this weekend to see it/drive it... the tosser sales guy had the keys locked in the workshop!! Decided to tell me this when I was 10 mins away - I was fuming. But having seen her in the flesh calmed me down - its immac... the interiour is gorgeous... BLue alcantara Recaros - both front & rear - VERY ~hot~ - so over the moon with that.

Have to wait till next weekend (thanks to a plate change) then I may have her for Saturday... probably be early next week :(

Am I crazy buying an S4 without even seeing it (initally) and now not having driven it??? :o - but I know its all good. It is coming from a dealer with a 1 year warranty - so all good :)

I will get some pics sorted as soon as she is in my possetion. A few below for now...

Well keep a look out for me and approach me please. I obviously dont know you guys, so someone to introduce me would be good. *cross fingers* MRC gives it the thumbs up :)

Thanks for the comments. I was very anxious about the seats till I saw them in the flesh this weekend! They look REALLY good and are not a problem with the yellow ext.

Anyways... I will update this once I get the car next week!
