Anyone know where I could get a towbar fitted?
Have just been speaking with Indespension and neither of their suppliers can supply for an S4.
Is it an Audi only part?

Searider have you spoken to towsure.com one of the leaders in manufacturing towbars, they do them to fit the A4 must be similar if not same. They have a depot in Southampton and they fit too, might be worth checking out.

I had a WITTER fitted to my avant no problem, A4 Avant fitted S4 Avant same, just a little extra cutting to rear plastic bumper bottom edge.

I've found the website for you. Appears NOT suitable for S4 Facelift model (2001) My S4 Avant is pre-facelift and has a Witter Towbar fitted.

Thanks chaps,
Should have dropped into Towsure - but was wondering what people already have fitted.
Interesting about the Witter not being suitable for facelift models.
Towbars direct looks like a very helpful site. They also do Witter but don't mention that they're not suitable for a facelift model.
I'll give them a call when the time comes and find out the full story!
Thanks
Duncan

From what I remember when i got mine, the previous owner approached VAG parts for the genuine removable towbar and then had it fitted by and independant fitter

I think Audi used Bosal towbars (my wife's allroad has a factory fit Bosal), go for a detachable one - they tuck away completely out of sight!
Towequipe sell the Bosal S4 detachable reduced to £206:
http://stores.channeladvisor.com/towbar/Items/025-243? follow the fitting instructions link and you'll see the S4 facelift specified.
I'd get an Audi independant to fit it, but whoever you use make sure they do a proper job with the electrics

Thanks
