replacing central locking pump

Hi all,

Having searched the forums it looks as if my central locking unit has bit the dust (no central locking and no leccie windows, lights by doors locks also no longer flash)

Wondering if replacing the unit is the kind of task a novice can take on?

If all it involves is taking out a few screws then i think i can handle it, or is this a specialist / dealer job?

anyone know the cheapest place to source the unit from?
