Im sure you can tell your insurance company to use a repairer of your choice, think you just need to get a few quotes.
I would get it done by a company that specialises in Audi. Sometimes the Accident Repair lot may not be able to identify problems with the engine etc, if they dont know the car that well its possible.
Good luck.

My business partner is a bit accident prone and he has never had a satisfactory finish from an Insurance Approved repair centre. Normally poor paint finish, so God only knows what crap is underneath. Anyway, we now specify a body shop of our choice..ok the assessor comes out to see the car and tries to knock the price. At the end of the day it is your choice.

Good luck

Asked insurance company if I could choose, but can only use there approved repair company for assessment. Hopefully when I get an indication of damage (takes 2 days) they may let me pick my own repair garage!
Thanks Guys

If not, take it to the insurance ombudsman or get an Audi specialist to inspect the car and then you can compare quotes, if there are differances then you have an argument to take to the insurance company.

had a couple of run inn's with so called Insurance Approved repair centre.
a company in barking essex, tried 4 times to repair my rover cabriolet. 6 week's in total.
ended up taking it to a different repair centre. prefire ltd in london. work is excellent. they painted the back end of my car after RAC Auto windshields tried to fit a rear window and marked roof, boot and both rear quarters.

LOL

I have a loan Ford Ka while my car is being repaired after my own S4 Vs tarmac lorry moment. :(

18s 50-70 in 5th instead of 6 and a bit seconds in 6th...........

My youngest daughter (9) really likes it :o

5K miles on it but dents in the roof after somebody jumped on it and a freshly sanded bonnet to hide the rude word that was scratched into it.
