The time has come to sell my Beast - Just looking for some opinions on the value from informed people.

It's an 1998 S4 Avant Nogaro Blue, with 95k on the clock
Good Condition
FSH
9 months tax & mot
Scotts Mototune 400bhp upgrade (K04 Turbo's,RS4 Injectors,Remap & Full Milltek Exhaust) - Done 25k miles ago & cost £7000.
4 new tyres & everything else pretty much standard.

Any ideas what £££ I can expect to get for it?

Cheers

I'd say it's got to be worth at least £12k with a performance upgrade like that (shame about the otherwise low spec)

[quote="clive.harper"]IIt has leather interior & electric tilt slide sunroof - but stereo is not Bose & seats are not electric so not really sure which Spec category it falls into.

Reckon you might manage 11K then. The thing is I guess is that to achieve top book you want a buyer who really wants that sort of performance in a second hand motor (and without warranty).

Absolutely no doubt it's a cracking motor but with prices dropping I think you may be lucky to get more than 11K.

There not falling like lead balloons but they are falling. There is a 1999FL on autotrader - seriously loaded, one owner and 52K on the clock for sub 12K.

My point really is that Lucas could be a victim of circumstance. Someone looking for an S4 really has to want that kind of extensive modification and accept the unknown risk. The mods may have cost 7K but the person considering buying it may think about the cost of putting it right if something goes wrong and be cautious. It's not for the faint of heart IMHO. He may just get lucky?

Good luck Lucas it sound like a boss motor.

[quote="Bisonone"]What will you moving onto when itDon't really want to get rid of it, but have decided to move to sensible street for financial reasons - I'm afraid a Mondeo TDCI may be the replacement.

As for the performance - I have a suzuki SV650S & there is not a lot of difference between the two up to 100 & then the Car pulls away :-)

Will be a sad day when your car finally goes after all you've put into it. I hope you get a good price for it,good luck!!!

I guess we all have to calm down one day

Nice bike though, so you still have the speed rush when you want to.... 8)
