Please Help! Location Of MAF and Part number!!!!!!!!!

Post by Turbo Joe » Sun Feb 13, 2005 12:07 am

Can anyone shed the light of day as to where the MAF is situated in my S4(driver or passenger side of engine), is it difficult to fit? The part number, where I can get one for much cheaper than the dealers!
Much appreciated for the help!

Hi,

If your S4 has the AGB engine code, order this MAF part number from your local stealer (oops, dealer) 078 906 461BX, it should cost about 60-ish quid+VAT (at least that's what we pay for them in Europe). The MAF is located at the outlet of the air box, under a plastic cover on the driver's (UK) side.

HTH,

Mihnea

Remember to order a re-conditioned one not a new one, new ones are a couple of hundred pounds. If your dealer can't get you a re-con unit try VAGParts.

the -X at the end of the part number indicates an exchange unit, reconditioned or new (I think they are all new actually) and much cheaper than a straight new unit...

Cheers,
