In need a a mechanic to fit a boost guage in w.london?

Does anyone have a contact in West London area or near who can fit a boost guage? I have the guage and pillar holder. All i need is a fitter?

Yeah i was thinking about doing it myself but i'm just to busy. I got it done now at

There very helpful. They also fitted to my cliff alarm the button start. Its great as now i turn my car on from flat. Gives the turbos a few minutes to warm up and cool down.
I'm loving my S4!!

cool, good stuff. yeah i've been thinking about a remote start system for a while now, although the S4 does seem to warm up quite quickly !

apparently the oil pressure at idle isn't sufficient to prevent bore and bearing wear. The users manual thing
suggests that you pull off immediately after starting up.

Is nice getting in your car and all the windows are already defrosted and your heater is nice and warm. Beats them cold mornings. I would recomend it.

As JonnyX says, that is not good for the car.
You should get in, start it and move off immediately and drive gently until the oil temp hits 90.
This will minimise the warm-up time and therefore the engine wear, 70% of which occurs during warm-up.

Hmmmm,
Thanks for that info. I was always advised to let the oil warm up before driving. In that case i'll make sure that i don't let it run for to long without moving.
What about when you finished driving the car? (after booting it)??? Is the audi different then skyline, suburu setups???They come with turbo timers?

2-3 minutes of gentle driving/tickover should be enough to cool the turbo bearings and leave them with cooler oil when turned off. I just drive the last 5 minutes gently then switch off.
No turbo timers on Audi's but the turbo bearing housings are water cooled. Not sure how much that helps though !
