Anyone have it fitted ?
is it worth it ?
Does it really put more power to the ground and eliminate "slop" like it claims ?
I have about £340 to spend on her this month and though maybe this would be the best option ?

Yup, very good value IMHO. Definitely makes the car feel stiffer and gets rid of some of the slop which results in a smoother and more precise gearchange, especially if you have a shortshifter. I rate it as one of the best value mods if you have an S4, but have also read that some people hardly notice any difference at all.

I also have one fitted and agree with Mik it does get rid of the slop and the car changes gears much smoother, I have also noticed AWE don't sell the snub mount anymore as the drive train stabiliser seems to be an alternative.

Hi all
just a quick question
Do you guys have any problems getting over speed humps with the drivetrain stabiliser fitted.
Ive had a look at some pictures of it fitted and it looks like it hangs an inch or two lower than the car.
do you know if this the case or not because where i live there are speed humps on most roads and i have trouble getting over them as it is, so im in two minds wether to get it or not
Cheers

Hi Bazza
Yes mine does rub a bit occasionally, however I dont have a very low suspension (RS4 standard on S4 Avant). I have learned to be careful - e.g. brake well before the bumps - so the car doesnt dive whilst over the bumps etc. but I expect with a very low setup you might have a few problems.

Bazza,
I plan to have a DTS installed in the summer, and have no doubt that my suspension will need to be raised...

I have a DTS installed on my S4 which has standard RS4 suspension fitted. The DTS frequently grounds out on speed bumps and makes a hell of a noise when it happens.

Does it hang lower than the CATs? I'd rather the DTS gets a hammering than £900+ CATS!

Please could you let me know.
Is This DTS a suitable part also for the RS4.
Who makes this product, how much is it, where would you get it and how do you mount it.
Sorry to ask so much. I have seen the product for sale second hand but heard very little about it otherwise.
My car is at the dealers tomoz for a gearbox rebuild .
I hope to short shift and DTS as long as the box issue is resolved.
Good luck to me.
